INVERLOCH TRAINING CAMP
This camp is held during April each year and is an eye-opening weekend of road riding action. You will learn to focus on the things that matter as you take on the challenge of the extraordinarily scenic and adventurous terrain of the Strzelecki Ranges. The weekend is specifically designed for intermediate cyclists (not elite) through to recreational cyclists who are looking to improve their bike skills and handling.

A 5 star training camp staying at the RACV Inverloch Resort,  exclusively for SKCC members and limited to 40 people. The camp is run by former Olympian Rob Crowe from Ridewiser Consultancy along with volunteers from the SKCC committee and other experienced SKCC members. This is also a great way for new riders and members to meet other SKCC members who share your passion for cycling!

 BRIGHT ELITE TRAINING CAMP
Traditionally anyone building strength for the Tour of Bright or the summer racing season uses the Bright training camp as an annual trip to the mountains not to be missed. Over the three days, club riders climb the three major peaks in the Alpine District fully supported by Ridewiser, with a club dinner on the Saturday night, and great accommodation all weekend.

This is a training weekend primarily for A&B grade riders. Advanced C grade riders especially those intending to ride the Tour of Bright may also like to consider this weekend. The weekend includes the BIG3: Falls 120km (12th), Hotham 100km (13th) & Mt Buffalo 80km (14th).  The rides are all 'out-and-back' routes from the accommodation with a daily pre-ride format spelled out by SKCC Olympian and on-road advisor Rob Crowe. So, whilst the A & B Grade riders (male and female alike) do their stuff up the front, there is ample opportunity for those who are perhaps not quite as strong to U-turn, head down and get ready for the next day.

The camp will be held in 2010 across the weekend of 12, 13, 14 November so pencil these dates in for a great weekend away.
