CLUB CHAMPIONS AND RUNNERS UP
Men’s Race Format:
The Men’s Club Champion will be awarded to the winner of the Men’s Elite and MAS2/3 men bunch which is a mass start event for both Road and Criterium Championships. A rider’s age category is determined by their year of birth.

MAS4/5 and MAS6+ men who wish to contest the Club Criterium Championship can do so by racing with the Championship bunch. They can also contest their age category by racing with the MAS4/5 and 6+ bunch which is run at an earlier time to the Championship bunch.

MAS4/5 and MAS6+ men who wish to contest the Club Road Championship can do so by racing with the Championship bunch. However, they will forfeit the right to contest their age category as the MAS 4/5 and 6+ bunch will be racing on the course at the same time as the Championship bunch.

Women’s Race Format
The Women’s Club Champion will be awarded to the winner of the Women’s race which is a mass start event for all age categories for both Road and Criterium Championships.   A rider’s age category is determined by their year of birth.

The Categories are:

  • Elite (Open)
  • Masters 2/3 (35 – 44 age group)
  • Masters 4/5 (45+ age group).
  • Masters 6+ (55+ age group).

1st, 2nd, and 3rd will be awarded in each age category (where numbers are appropriate).

A Masters 2/3 rider may be first over the line and be awarded the Club Championship and will also win 1st in their respective category.
