SKCC Track riders smash the field apart at this week’s Australian Master Games.
But first the track squad continues to train for those Victorian club track titles to be held in January. With teams now formed across most categories, riders training within those teams are well under way.

Over the past couple of weeks our home grown SKCC trackies have been racing down at “sleepy hollow” in Geelong in the Vets and Aussie Games road and track titles.
For the track riders, a number of our regular trackies brought home medals who included names like Marita Box, Dale Maizels, Ray Box to name a few. Well done guys.

Australian Masters Games Track – W5 Gold Medal in the 500m’s and Sprints Marita Box. Marita also managed to get 5 minutes of fame on the “7.30 Report” as this camera-man relayed his film back to the TV Network. 

Australian Master Games Track Champ Ray Box watches on as the SKCC Track Squad carve up the track at the Geelong Velodrome during last week’s track titles. Ray contested the 500m time trial and the Sprints winning Gold in both events plus setting the fastest 500m time recorded on the day at the titles.

Dale Maizels competing at the Australian Master Games track titles – Dale road astoundingly well all week across all cycling disciplines both road and track and managed a staggering seven silver medals with podium finishes in every race she competed. Well done Dale.
