After much passionate debate, a survey and a special kit committee, the 2014 SKCC Kit is finally ready for ordering !!!
Thanks to the design work of guru Simon Moody from Simplesime, the design godfather came up with a contemporary refresh that hits the right balance between the much loved current design and a fresh upgrade with a notable difference.
SKCC has chosen from the vast Champion Systems range and are offering a choice of two men’s jersey cuts (a club cut and a race cut) and two women’s jersey cuts (all cuts with a choice of zipper length), plus two styles of knicks (with a choice of chamois and a choice of leg length).
Childrens sizes are also available in jersey, shorts, bib knicks and skin suits.
Add to this a wind vest, a skin suit, and fleece arm warmers, knee warmers & leg warmers.
Let’s not forget the Euro Cycling Cap which is available in black or white.
Socks will be available via the Club (not via the Champion Systems portal) in either a 4 inch cuff or a 6 inch cuff. Email info@skcc.com.au to order socks quoting your shoe size (see the table below)
But that’s not all……once our initial offering is in full swing we’ll be working on some additional items for the range, including some casual wear.
Be one of the first to secure the new improved kit from world class kit manufacturer Champion Systems. The club’s ordering portal is now live, which means you can go to the Champion Systems website and log in and order your apparel using Champion System’s online ordering portal – CS Direct (top right hand corner of the CS website).
This is a new process for the club, however the instructional video provided by Champion System will step you through the process of creating your ‘sub-account’ within the SKCC account. This will allow you to purchase the garments that the club has made available.
For those of you who are also members of other groups that have used this system before, you can use the same email address, but you will be required to use a different password when setting up your new SKCC ‘sub –account’

Two: once the kit has been released for online ordering you will eventually be able to visit Cycling & Sports Clothing, 53 Glenhuntly Rd, Elwood where you will find SKCC kit in most sizes to try on before buying online. (Just give us until the end of July 2014 to get the stock in there)

Choose your cut……….
Men’s Club Cut: Most similar to a regular fit business shirt. Larger through the chest and shoulders, larger armholes and sleeves and slightly longer in length. Would suit your larger male athlete or recreational cyclist.
Men’s Race Cut: Very similar to a slim fit business shirt. A lot closer fit through the upper body, smaller armholes and shorter in length. This cut is for the slim/lean athlete who is more serious about their performance.
New Women’s Specific Cut : The new women’s specific Jersey features new paneling more suited to a women’s figure. Specifically designed with the female anatomy in mind, designed and cut specifically for women it features a bust dart that continues to help the jersey fit better across the female anatomy. Side panels are shaped and curved to better fit the female form.
Original Women’s Cut: This is the original Champion Systems women’s cut and is similar to the men’s race cut in that the jersey and sleeves are shorter in length. In both women’s cut jerseys, we have removed a lot of the elastic from the hem, so it sits a lot better on a woman’s body when she is active.

A staple for every cyclists’ closet, this jersey is a tried and tested garment. One of our most popular jerseys for clubs and corporates. Full length invisible YKK zipper, this jersey is made from premium Italian Tech fabric, 50+UV protection, 3 rear pockets and a tapered collar for added comfort.

CS Air Pro Short Sleeve Jersey
For those wanting something a little different, this jersey is designed for serious racers and riders who are looking for one of the most aerodynamic jerseys available. This jersey combines our revolutionary lightweight Air Lite fabric, CS Tech Mesh side panels with form fitting lycra sleeves and shoulders for a perfect fit. This jersey also features flatlock stitching for further comfort and fit. Made from lightweight, highly breathable Italian fabric with 100% permanent UV protection.

New Women’s Specific Jersey
Based on our time-tested and race proven CS Tech Jersey and only available in the new women’s specific cut.
CS Bib Shorts
Featuring our CS Contour Lycra – this garment promotes increased breathability, compression and comfort, features silicon leg grippers, double lined rear panel and is available in male and female specific cuts. The CS Bib Short can be ordered in standard or extra length (increases the length of the leg by 1.5 inches).
Razor Bib Shorts
These knicks provide an ergonomic cut to hug the athletes formed leg. By sitting the panels in such a fashion we are able to achieve a much more snug fit without sacrificing comfort. This is by far our most popular choice of bib short amongst our racing teams. The Razor bib short features patented silicon injected grippers in the cuff of each leg. These grippers are injected into the fabric to ensure that they do not deteriorate with wear. All lycra used in the construction of the bib short is imported directly from Italy. The Razor bib shorts come standard with flat lock stitching and are available in both men’s and women’s specific cuts. Our chamois are made in Italy and are a 4-way stretch, antibacterial chamois. All of our bib shorts feature a double layered panel in the rear to avoid any chance of the garment becoming see through after excessive wear and tear. Our chamois are flat lock stitched with an inverted needle to reduce risk of chaffing and irritation on longer rides. The Razor bib short can be ordered in standard or extra length (increases the length of the leg by about 1.5 inches).

Endurance – our most popular chamois – more suited for longer rides.
Performance – best suited for race day knicks and skin suits. The pad is slightly smaller than the Endurance chamois.
CS Wind Vest
A lightweight shell, this vest is perfect for the Autumn/Spring/Summer mornings. It can be folded up neatly and carried in your jersey pocket with ease. Made with our exclusive windguard fabric, the CS Wind Vest will block the wind, while allowing you to keep your body temperature at a desirable level. The CS Wind Vest features a mesh back for increased breathability and zip through access to your three jersey pockets. Its high collar blocks the wind from your neck. This vest comes with the option of a hidden zip or exposed zip which can be selected when purchasing the garment.
Fleece Arm Warmer
Featuring flatlock stitching this armwarmer is an incredibly lightweight and warm brushed fleece. It’s a single sided fleece which means that only the inside of the armwarmer is fleece-lined. The outside has a smooth finish. Perfect for those cooler mornings and cold race days.
Fleece Knee Warmer
Produced from CS Tech Fleece which is an incredibly lightweight and warm brushed fleece, these knee warmers are anatomically cut to sit on your leg. The panels have been designed for maximum comfort when you are active on the bike. The upper hem has a silicon gripper to ensure the knee wamers don’t fall down.
Fleece Leg Warmer
Anatomically cut to fit the shape of your leg, these leg warmers are left and right leg specific. Each leg has a zip over the ankle so they can be removed easily. The outer edge of the zip features reflective piping for added visibility at night. These leg warmers are perfect for the early morning training ride, or pre and post race. A silicon gripper at the top of the leg ensure they do not fall down the leg.
Euro Cycling Cap
Available in both black and white……this cap is not made from cotton but a polyester-based fabric….yet it has the look and feel of cotton. Unlike cotton caps, our caps can be washed over and over again and they’ll look like new each time. This is a classic 4 panel “Euro Style” design.
Socks
Available in a 4″ cuff or a 6″ cuff option. All socks feature premium double layered cuffs and a hand sewn toe box for unrivalled comfort. These can’t be ordered with the rest of your kit, but will need to be ordered via info@skcc.com.au quoting your sock length and shoe size (see the table below).

Skin Suit – Short Sleeve/Long Sleeve
Made from CS Lycra, this is the ideal entry level skin suit. Perfect for those that want to look the part for a reasonable price ! Featuring YKK zips, option of performance or endurance chamois, and leg grippers, this skin suit is available in both short or long sleeve options.
CS Speed Suit – Short Sleeve/Long Sleeve
The CS SpeedSuit has set multiple world records on the track. The SkinSuit of choice for SASI, NSWIS and TIS, this is a high performance skin suit that is right at home on the velodrome. Made from a special wind tunnel-tested dimple fabric developed by the Swiss company Eschler, the CS Speed Suit is a must for any serious time triallist or track rider. This SpeedSuit was worn by Jack Bobridge, Anna Meares and Amy Cure when they all rode World Record times.
NB: This suit is designed specifically for the elite rider. It is designed to be worn on the bike – it is hard to put on and it is tight !
CS Rear Zip Speedsuit
A truly high end, technical performance garment, designed in conjunction with the Lampre-Merida Pro Cycling Team and has been extensively wind tunnel tested.
Designed specifically for the elite time triallist or track rider looking for the extra couple of percent against the clock.
The Carbon Rear Zip Speedsuit features CS CARBON material, a material that contains threads of carbon within its structure that provides additional compression and thermoregulatory properties. CS CARBON reduces temperature loss or gain keeping the working muscles at optimum temperature for increased performance. Sleeves are made from a CS Dimple fabric and aero type fabric high in lycra content allowing maximal contact to the skin allowing low drag.
Cyclocross SkinSuit
Designed specifically for the ‘cross racer in mind. Take our regular skinsuit but fleece line it for the ultimate in warmth during the cold ‘cross season. As worn by Junior World Champion Tijmen Eising of Team Revor (Belgium).
