The Special General Meeting scheduled for Monday night (April 22) has been cancelled following the withdrawal of the motion.

STATEMENT
The Committee of the St Kilda Cycling Club is pleased to announce that a motion scheduled to be put to a Special General Meeting on April 22 has been withdrawn.
The withdrawal of the motion follows discussions between the Committee and representatives of a number of members who were dissatisfied with the handling of a governance issue. The group accepts the issue is now permanently closed.
The Committee has previously acknowledged that a communique issued late last year could have been better handled.
Club President Tom Reynolds says this resolution allows the club and its members to look to the future and cement itself as Australia’s most diverse and active cycling club.
