The SKCC Club Road Championships are back and are going to be bigger and better than ever this year. Lock in Saturday 17 September because this is going to be another classic SKCC event not to be missed. We’re going to be racing on the much loved and ever popular Newham course. |

Race Distances (Event Start 10:00am):

• Men’s Open – 90km – 3 x 30km laps
• Men’s Masters 2/3 – 90km – 3 x 30km laps
• Men’s Masters 4/5 – 60km – 2 x 30km laps
• Men’s Masters 6/7 – 60km – 2 x 30km laps
• Men’s Masters 8+ – 60km – 2 x 30km laps
• Women’s Open – 60km – 2 x 30km laps
• Women’s Masters 2/3 – 60km – 2 x 30km laps
• Women’s Masters 4/5 – 60km – 2 x 30km laps
• Women’s Masters 6+ – 60km – 2 x 30km laps
• Junior 13 – 20km – Partial lap of the circuit
• Junior 15 – 30km – 1 x 30km lap
• Junior 17 – 60km – 2 x 30km laps

1st, 2nd, and 3rd will be awarded in each age category (where numbers are appropriate).
We intend to offer Junior racing but this will depend on the level of interest we receive.

The Newham General Store is located at 2 Dons Road, Newham, right on the corner of Rochford Rd & Dons Rd and just a short stroll to the Newham Primary School. The crew at the General Store have been notified that we are racing, so it would be great if you can support the local businesses.

Post event BBQ

The very busy Reese Masita will be donning the BBQ apron to put on the usual spread for riders and volunteers and their friends and families.
When you enter online you will be asked if you will be attending and for any dietary requirements.
There is also a comments field, so if your friends and family are coming to cheer you on, please leave a comment telling us how many extras there will be.
NB: The BBQ is free of charge.

Car Parking

The Newham Primary School carpark is not large, so we do ask that when you park you don’t leave large gaps between you and the car next to you. This will maximize the space available. There are plenty of paved areas throughout the school for wind trainer setup. Please don’t park in front of the local CFA or in front of the General Store The General Store has regular everyday customers who require parking, so please don’t leave your car there and go off to race

We’re looking forward to a great turn out from club members and would encourage everyone to come and support your club. Even if you’re not racing you’re welcome to enjoy all the drama of the finish, BBQ and presentations to follow.
