SKCC Club PRO training rides is a brand new training initiative that is targeted at B, C and D grade SKCC members.
Whether you are looking to develop specific strength for road or criterium racing, improve your bike handling skills, or, simply improve your fitness with a group of like minded SKCC members then, this is the initiative for you.
All SKCC Ranked Training Rides will be led and guided by Olympian and SKCC Club Pro, Rob Crowe from Ridewiser. The training rides are all ‘lollipop’ courses (out-around-back), with each training ride following a structured format completed in this general pattern:
(Sector 1). Warm-Up;
(Sector 2). Training / Drill Sectors
(Sector 3). Volume Riding + Cool Down Sector.
All ride routes will be conducted within challenging terrain surrounding either the Mornington Peninsula or The Dandenong’s.
For insurance purposes, SKCC Ranked Training Rides are only open to SKCC members holding a current Cycling Australia SKCC license.
Entry numbers into each SKCC Ranked Training Ride will be capped at a MAXIMUM of 20 riders. Pre-registration for each SKCC Ranked Training Ride is mandatory to allow for dissemination of essential ride preparation information
