SKCC riders dominated at the Northern Combine Preston Cycling Club Points Race on Saturday, 5 May.

James Grant won B Grade with 22 points, nearly double the tally of second place.

In C Grade, it was an SKCC 1-2-4 with Gene Kehoe, Marco Rando and Angus Thompson taking the honours respectively.

Matt Bonwick, Bruno Rabi and Adam Jones finished second, third and fourth in D Grade.

Michael Addison narrowly missed out on winning E Grade and finished third with Simon Koch in fourth

Congratulations to all the SKCC placegetters as well as the other riders from the club who raced on the day.  The next Northern Combine race is the SKCC Trophy Race on Saturday, 19 May.  This race incorporates the first of the three race Women’s Series that has been introduced in 2012, thanks to SKCC again leading the way in increasing participation and the profile of women’s racing over the winter season.
