SKCC is having a party and all members are invited! We are very lucky to be holding it at the beautiful Cellar Bar (downstairs at the Newmarket Hotel) at 34 Inkerman Street, St Kilda.

Save the date of Thursday 2nd October from 6:30pm. We will be serving canapés and drinks will be at bar prices. On this wonderful big night we will be presenting the awards for:

• Road Club Champs
• TT Club Champs
• Crit Club Champs
• We will also be holding our Summer Season Crit Launch
• Relaunch of the new SKCC Kit with limited stock available to purchase on the night!
• Update on Rec & Social Rides as well as the SKCCers doing Around the Bay

Former Australian Road Champion, and number one SKCC Ticket holder, Matty Lloyd will be in attendance to speak with us about his road to recovery after his horrific accident last month, and what the future holds for the cheeky Aussie climber.

There will be other prizes and giveaways on this great get together of SKCCers.

We will also be catching up with SKCC big-hitter, and Vanderkitten superstar, Miranda Griffiths, who has recently returned from her first season overseas. Miranda will fill us in on her transition from Club cyclist to Pro, and how the future and her dreams and aspirations are looking.

We’ll speak with long-time St Kilda member, and one of the kings of style, Marcus “Golly” Balscheit, who has recently returned from racing the Worlds Masters Road Race overseas. Golly will talk to us about his journey to the race and the experience of competing at the Worlds.

This is going to be a huge night and we encourage all members both new and old to come along and share a drink with fellow members. This is a great chance to have a catch up with your SKCC mates and get to know everyone you may not have met yet. It also just happens to be in one of the coolest & hippest places in Melbourne!
