Two of SKCC’s members, Matt Lloyd and Bridie O’Donnell, had a red hot go in the Titles at Buningyong last weekend. Matt rode an incredible road race against the odds and the force of the Green Edge Team to gain silver. 

Those who were present and witnessed Matt’s “Ride of the Race” surely witnessed the comeback of a true professional and saw one of the most exciting races as he went hammer and tongs against our other local boy, Simon Gerrans. Bridie was back in town from her recent European season to put it all on the the line to try to regain her title in the ITT from her win back in 2008. Up against some very tough competition, Bridie was only one second off silver and had to settle for bronze. She is now packing her bags and is off to the US to pursue her cycling career. Again we look forward to following her achievements in 2012. http://bridie.com.au/
