What a fantastic weekend for SKCC women with podiums in Tasmania in the first event of the National Road Series, and closer to home at the Tour of the South West in Warrnambool.
SKCC’s Sam de Riter (above) took 1st place in the 2nd Stage of the 2013 Mersey Valley Tour.
Sam’s first ever win had her beaming from ear to ear, and as the tour closed saw her 3rd on GC with her Holden team mates and fellow SKCC members Lucy Coldwell and Miranda Griffiths 6th and 7th respectively. The Holden Women’s Cycling Team finished the tour 2nd on GC. We’ll be watching these ladies closely over the ensuing months.
